St Moriz FAQ's
Is St Moriz tested on animals?
How long will St. Moriz tan last?
Your tan will last between 5 to 10 days, and depends on your skin type
Can St. Moriz be used during my pregnancy?
Yes, the main tanning agent used in St. Moriz Tan is dihydroxyacetone, which is non-toxic. St. Moriz only works upon the uppermost layers of the skin and cannot get into the bloodstream from normal application. However, be aware that hormonal changes during pregnancy (especially during the first 3 months) may affect the development of the tan. Do not apply to the breast area if breastfeeding.
Can I shower or swim after applying St. Moriz?
St. Moriz takes six to eight hours to develop your tan. So, don’t swim or shower until after this time (or, if applying before bed, shower the guide colour off in the morning). Some colour may wash from the skin during showering; this is normal.
Can St. Moriz mask scars, stretch marks or skin blemishes?
Yes. Apply St. Moriz Self Tanning Mousse or Lotion to the affected area and leave for six to eight hours. Wash the area then apply your all-over tan as normal. If the tan is not dark enough, repeat approximately every 6 to 8 hours until the stretch mark or scar is masked.
When should I shave, before or after applying St. Moriz?
Shaving, waxing and bikini lines should be done 48 hours before.
Should I remove any deodorant/perfume/make-up before applying St. Moriz?
Yes. Shower or bath before applying. This removes anything that might react with the tan. Also, make sure you don’t use any oily products.
I like my St. Moriz tan but I would like it darker.
Use St. Moriz Dark Mousse. You can also apply medium tanning lotion on consecutive nights to darken your tan.
Will St. Moriz stain my clothes?
St. Moriz tanning lotion may stain clothing. Avoid contact with carpets or furnishings. All residue colour should easily come out in the wash.
